Abigail Tykocki, Pinecrest Neighborhood Assoc. President Endorses Chuck Grigsby for East Lansing City Council

Chuck Grigsby has a well-deserved reputation as a leader who can be counted on to solve problems and get things done. During our time together in the East Lansing Emerging Leaders program, Chuck demonstrated a deep commitment to building a stronger community. He has been a frequent attendee of our Pinecrest neighborhood association meetings and engages directly with residents on the issues they face. Through his work chairing the Human Rights Commission and the Student on an Independent Oversight Commission, Chuck has proven to be a tireless advocate for transparency and accountability in local government. I’m proud to endorse Chuck Grigsby for East Lansing City Council.

I strongly support Chuck Grigsby for East Lansing City Council. Chuck has proven that he deeply cares about the East Lansing community – by being very active in local schools, organizations, and committees, and by stepping up to address and engage in very important issues within our area. Chuck is great at listening to various interests and voices, and seeing the big picture – allowing him to come up with goals and solutions that benefit us all, rather than a select few. Chuck Grigsby Talks with WKAR Public Media

I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Megan Schellong of WKAR Public Media from Michigan State University
and spoke with her about East Lansing and some of our community initiatives I’ve been involved with and how they can work with effective communication, active listening, and sound research with a commitment to the solutions. The recent Commission work is a great example of that formula coming to fruition. That is a formula for success to the challenges of post-pandemic life in East Lansing I will bring to the table when elected to the City of East Lansing City Council on November 2, 2021.
