During our time together in the East Lansing Emerging Leaders program, Chuck demonstrated a deep commitment to building a stronger community. He has been a frequent attendee of our Pinecrest neighborhood association meetings and engages directly with residents on the issues they face. Through his work chairing the Human Rights Commission and the Student on an Independent Oversight Commission, Chuck has proven to be a tireless advocate for transparency and accountability in local government. Why I’m voting for Chuck Grigsby: I have known Chuck for several years through our mutual activities at Glencairn Elementary School.
